Here's a little info about myself...

I am a Person Centred Counsellor and Psychotherapist.

I work with clients of all ages to support any emotional issue.

I currently work for Barnardo's, offering 1-1 counselling, emotional support and play therapy to children and young people aged 5 - 18. 

I previously worked at n-compass offering 1-1 counselling and group therapy for children and young people. I have specialist experience working with young people who self-harm.

I have previous work experience at multiple adult counselling charities, including Lancashire Women in Burnley and Cedar House in Preston.

I have a BSc Degree in Person Centred Counselling & Psychotherapy.

My previous training includes a Level 2, Level 3 and Foundation Degree in Person Centred Counselling & Psychotherapy.

I studied for all my counselling qualifications at the University of Derby and Preston's College. During my degree training, I was very honoured to receive a Dean's Award from the University of Derby.

For my Continued Professional Development, I attend multiple workshops and training events all year round, to maintain high, professional standards in my clinical practice.

My CPD training includes:

• Online Safety
• Data Security Awareness
• Mental Health First Aid
• Trans Awareness

I have supervision every month with an external, professionally accredited supervisor to discuss my caseload and to maintain high standards of ethical practice.

I am fully DBS checked and I am updated annually. My certificate is available for viewing on request.
